Clydebank Cost of Living event to offer support and advice
The event has been organised by Clydebank MSP Marie McNair in collaboration with Clydebank Housing Association
A cost of living event will bring together support services and charities to help residents access practical advice.
Organised by Clydebank MSP Marie McNair in collaboration with Clydebank Housing Association, the event will take place on Friday, November 13, from 1pm to 3pm at Centre 81 in Whitecrook.
Aimed at helping people manage rising expenses and financial pressures, the event will feature a range of organisations offering guidance, resources, and direct support.
Marie McNair, SNP MSP for Clydebank, said: "I know many of my constituents continue to be worried about the cost of living, especially as we move into the colder months.
"It can be difficult to know who to go to for help when you are struggling, so this event brings together lots of local charities and national organisations who can assist you.
"Please do come along for a cuppa, bite to eat and a chat with the many organisations who can help you."
Attendees will have the chance to speak with representatives from groups including Scottish Gas, Home Energy Scotland, and West Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau, as well as a wide range of community and support services.
The event will also include opportunities for informal conversation over refreshments, allowing residents to share concerns in a relaxed setting.
A spokesperson for Clydebank Housing Association said: "We are again delighted to support this worthwhile event to be held at our community centre, Centre81."
Additional organisations taking part include Carers of West Dunbartonshire, Community Links Energy Advice, Diabetes Scotland, Improving Lives, the Lennox Partnership, Moments of Freedom, St Margaret of Scotland Hospice, Stepping Stones, and Working 4 U.
The event aims to connect residents with the right support as financial challenges continue to affect households.
